I don't get the joke, not the put but the Lovecraft thing. The pun I don't get either, but I dont' want to. It probably should not be. But I hope the series comes out dubbed beccause I think a Lovecraftian anime would be pretty cool. I'd hope they don't make it all cutsie though. I love cute Cthulhu, but if they are tyring to tell a Lovecraftian story, making it anime Japanese girl cute would RUIN it utterly.

Looking around I see it listed as a Sci-fi comedy. So I doubt it's going to be very Lovecraftian though with a weird sense of humor I guess they could be tentacle slappers.
